Bhoomi Ratna International Award

Bhoomi Ratna International Award (Hindi- भूमि रत्न अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार; Jewel of the Soil) is instituted by Aasta Foundation Trust, India in 2018 to specially reccognise someone’s (Individual or Organisation) outstanding contribution towards society without distinction of race, occupation, position, or sex. The award is limited to 11 numbers in total including foreign nationals per year. The Award carries a trophy and a citation. There is no monetary grant associated with this award.

1- The Award will be open to individuals /Organisation with Indian of foreign nationality/Passport, regardless of race, creed or sex. The individual may or may not be of Indian origin.

2-For being considered for the Award, the name of the individual/Organisation must be recommended, in writing, by persons belong to any of the following categories. Who may be invited by the Foundation to send recommendation.

• Members of the selection committee for the Award.
• Heads of foreign Embassies/Missions in India.
• Persons who have received the Award in the past. (not valid for 2018)
• Members of National Parliament.
• Any other person whom the Trustees may wish to invite to submit proposals for the Award.

3- Self-nominations with documental proof is also entertained however, the selection is purely based on merit and final decision of the selection committee.
